EveHQ Plug-in Overview
This page gives a brief outline of each of the plug-ins currently available for EveHQ. Further details are provided in separate pages linked below.
Officially Supported Plug-ins
These are plug-ins officially supported by the EveHQ Development Team and are provided with the EveHQ installer and zip file collection.
Fitting Tool (HQF)
HQF is a ship fitting tool for EveHQ. It allows ships to be fitted with any available modules and provides an analysis of the ship and module capabilities based on character skills and implants. The plug-in provides lots of features such as fleet, remote and wormhole effects, comprehensive pilot and implant manager, EveHQ skill queue integration and the ability to import loadouts from the very popular BattleClinic Loadout site.
Item Browser
EveHQ's Item Browser allows all the data contained in the Eve database to be viewed. As well as being split into it's correct categories, items, attributes and effects can be searched. The details for each item show the name, graphic, description, attributes, effects, required skills, meta variations, materials for construction/recycling and if applicable, certificate recommendations.
Killmail Viewer
Very simple plug-in which allows killmails to be viewed for an existing EveHQ account or for another account which API details are known. A summary of the last 100 killmails is displayed for personal or corporate use and details of each of these killmails can be viewed.
PI Manager
PI Manager allows you to design and view the expected production of Planetary Interaction colonies. You can easily see what you are capable of producing, even determine what you can make profit wise by either making the components or purchasing them.
POS Manager
This plug-in allows you to design and monitor POS towers. Through here you can design a tower, complete with modules, allowing you to see estimated hit-points, DPS, resistances and other attributes not normally available in-game. You can monitor tower fuel levels and even monitor silo's and reactions running at a given tower. You can also calculate exact amounts of fuel needed to fill towers.
Prism
EveHQ's Prism plug-in is an asset management and financial information tool. It's asset management features give the ability to search and filter assets by type or category, while also providing valuations of assets based on imported price data. Wallet transactions and journal can be analysed and exported, as can current market orders and jobs in progress. In addition, comprehensive Production, Batch and Blueprint Managers are provided to keep track of all the owned blueprints of characters or corporations. To extend this, Blueprints can be analysed to show research, production and invention information.
RouteMap
RouteMap is the replacement for the old Map plug-in, which has now been retired. This EveHQ plug-in is designed to allow you to view the Eve galaxy and search systems for a number of different objects such as agents, ore and station facilities. You can calculate different routes through the galaxy, record exploration information, view known jump bridges and cynos, determine systems you can reach within a certain number of ship jumps and much more. You can even see how busy a system has been recently via API access. In addition you can also view some basic statistics for wormhole systems.
Void
Void is a wormhole and W-space information tool. It provides details of each wormhole, giving mass and time limits for each. For W-space systems, details are given of the class, any anomaly present and the effects of that anomaly. Void was the first EveHQ plug-in that integrates with the IGB Server to provide W-Space information directly in-game. By reading the current location of your character, simply accessing a web page will provide the solar system and anomaly details directly.
Non-Official Plug-ins
Non-official plug-ins are not part of the official EveHQ installation and their use and source code (if available) have not been checked thoroughly or continually. Care should be taken when using one of these and users might want to ask to see the source code prior to use.
There are no non-official plug-ins currently available or in development.
Obsolete Plug-ins
These are plug-ins that have been retired or made obsolete for some reason.
CorpHQ
CorpHQ was originally planned to be a corporation management plug-in for CEOs and directors, but has now been put on hold indefinitely. CorpHQ had a single purpose which was to read standings information. However, standings are now listed as part of the pilot information screen.
Creation
Creation allowed an analysis of the starting characters in Eve and allows these characters to be imported into EveHQ for use in skill queue planning and analysis. Due to the changes made to all new starting characters in Eve with effect from the Apocrypha patch, this plug-in has lost the vast majority of it's usefulness.
Note: The ability to create blank characters is still retained within the Pilot group in the EveHQ Settings.
Data Converter
Data Converter was a collection of tools dealing with the data base and the API. It's primary function was to convert the official CCP Data Export into an MS Access version that can be distributed along with EveHQ. Other functions include parsing certificate information and makings CSV dumps of the data.
With the change to SQL Compact Edition, Data Converter became largely obsolete. It is still retained to add version information to the database prior to publishing and although available in the source code, it is not distributed with the main EveHQ application.
Map
The Map tool combined information on Eve's solar systems, stations and agents as well as providing some handy travel tools for both gate and jump drive travel. The plug-in allowed route planning between systems while taking into account waypoints and systems to be avoided. For mission runners, an agent search tool listed details of agents while also providing the distance to those agents from a given location.
This plug-in has been made obsolete due to the newer and vastly improved RouteMap plug-in.
